Miley Cyrus join Magnum ice cream for free virtual concert

Miley Cyrus has a sweet summer treat for followers.

The vocalist is coordinating with Magnum ice cream for a totally free online concert experience this month, called Miley in Layers.

Miley is readied to do some of the largest hits off her current cd, Plastic Hearts, as well as an unique cover of the '80s hit "Midas Touch" by Midnight Star, re-imagined as "Miley's Touch."

The show will certainly make use of immersive 8D sound innovation, which provides followers the feeling of being in the space with Miley when played via a set of headphones.

“The greatest super-power we have is our individuality,” Miley says in a statement, discussing the Magnum collab. “As I’ve evolved as an artist, I’ve been able to explore the different layers of who I am and what brings me pleasure — whether I’m writing, in the studio, performing on stage for thousands of fans or wearing something that makes me feel empowered.”

She includes, "My biggest pleasure in life is music and I’m so excited to be performing in 8D for you all. I hope this campaign with Magnum ice cream inspires everyone to embrace their own layers and proudly go after whatever it is that brings them pleasure."

LOS ANGELES - Miley Cyrus has deleted every single photograph she's ever uploaded to Instagram.

The 25-year-old singer has deleted every single photograph she's ever uploaded to the picture-sharing site - including the shots of her beloved pets and fiancé Liam Hemsworth - but she's yet to explain to fans why she's made the drastic alteration.

Speculation about why the Wrecking Ball hitmaker has disappeared from the site has been rife, with some fans suggesting that she could be getting married.

Although some people are struggling to find the correlation between deleting all of her pictures and getting married, friends close to Cyrus have said recently that she and Hemsworth - who rekindled their relationship over two years ago - are desperate to tie the knot, but they want to do things "their own way" and won't be telling friends and family about their big day until everything has been planned.

A source said recently: "They have been in love for almost nine years but the timing has never been right until now. Their massive careers, their ages and their families' input has kept them from getting married ...

"... Miley has come up with all sorts of different wedding plans. She is always creative and thinking of new ideas that will make her experience different. She hasn't announced anything because she is being very secretive so only their friends will know and at the very last minute. This time they are doing everything their own way."

Cyrus met the Australian while they were starring in The Last Song back in 2010 and they announced their engagement two years later.

However, although Miley's parents - Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus - have always "adored" the 28-year-old hunk, Hemsworth's family haven't been so keen on her.

An insider explained: "While Miley's parents have always adored Liam, Liam's parents were not sold on Miley and her outrageous behaviour.

"Miley has been very open about her drug and alcohol use, and that didn't bode well with his family's far more conservative lifestyle. Miley had to get through a phase of discovering herself before she was able to commit. And now that she has turned her life around and stopped partying, she is clear minded and knows what she wants. Liam's mother [Leonie] is finally over the moon to have her as a daughter-in-law."

And it was actually Liam's sister-in-law Elsa Pataky - who is married to Chris Hemsworth - who helped persuade the family to give Miley a chance.

The source said: "Elsa and Miley have always been very close and Elsa really went to bat for Miley. She has tried to impress on her in-laws all the big changes Miley has made to turn her life around and build a future with Liam."

But complaints of Cyrus on the music industry do not stop with Swift. The singer of "Wrecking Ball" also criticized the double standard that run rampant on the field.

"There is so much sexism, ageism, whatever," he said. "Kendrick Lamar sings about LSD and he's fine. I do and I'm a crack whore."

Cyrus said he had reached a point where not "really overemphasize" about what the public thinks of it.

"There is nothing to catch me doing," he told the magazine. "You want to hack my email so I can find my nude pictures I'll f - g put up".

Cyrus is set to host the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards.

The producer is still working on two projects, but it seems he has more on his plate. He also added that he has been collaborating with Rihanna, Beyonce, Wiz Khalifa, Rae Sremmurd and Gucci Mane. The 50 winners were chosen based on their YouTube views, subscribers, and participation in the last six months.

The new content will be created by musicians like Charli XCX, Sheeran, Martin Garrix, Max Schneider, Migos, Megan Nicole, Cahoots, Nicky Jam and Shamir.
